August Burns Red

August Burns Red es una banda de Mathcore Cristiano originaria de Lancaster, Pennsylvania. La banda fue formada en marzo de 2003 y empezaron su carrera tocando por su ciudad natal. En 2004 la banda firmó un contrato con CI Records y lanzaron el EP Looks Fragile After All. Después de un año de giras, la banda firmó contrato con Solid State Records el 2005 y lanzaron Thrill Seeker el 8 de noviembre de ese año. Su disco Messengers, fue lanzado el 17 de junio de 2007 superando las 45.000 copias vendidas. Entre abril y mayo de 2008, la banda realizó una gira con As I Lay Dying y Misery Signals.
